MANCHESTER UNITED PREPARED TO 'SACK' DAVID MOYES

While Manchester United is still sailing in troubled waters in the Premier League, the Glazer family who are the owners of the Red Devils have short-listed Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp for next season if David Moyes fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Since his arrival at Manchester United, Moyes is struggling to settle down. Last summer he failed to recruit world-class players to strengthen his side and the season has turned out to be a disaster for the Red Devils. Despite of some positive results in recent weeks, Moyes could soon see an axe from the Glazer family, who are prepared to bring in Klopp next season.
According to Kick Socca sources in Germany, Manchester United has made an inquiry for Klopp, who is also having a bad season managing Dortmund (currently third in the Bundesliga). Glazers will replace Moyes only if he fails to qualify for the Champions League.
However, the Red Devil owners are aware that it will be difficult to recruit Klopp, who just signed a new contract last season with Dortmund. Manchester United will hope to find an agreement with Klopp before embarking on negotiations with the Champions League runner-up.
Recently, former Sir Alex Ferguson’s assistant and Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen widely criticized the work of Moyes.
“When I saw Manchester United, I thought their game plan was simple enough. If you are well organized, the defense is well placed to get the ball, it can be easy to defend (against them). You need a little creativity and variety to open the team up,” said Meulensteen.
Manchester United is currently 9 points behind fourth placed Liverpool and face Crystal Palace this weekend.
